Artwork Questions

I’m not an artist, how do I show you what I want?

You don’t have to be an artist – that’s our job.

You may fill out your Layout Request Form, send us hand-written notes, or simply pick up the phone.

Whatever you have is fine with us, and we will call for additional details if we need them.

Can logos be used on a plaque?

Yes, most logos can be used on a plaque.

Each material and manufacturing process has minimum requirements, however, so we will gladly review your artwork to make sure it is usable.

If changes are necessary, we will also quote the cost of bringing it within specifications.

Can a custom typestyle be used on a plaque?

Yes. As long as it meets the minimum requirements for the material and manufacturing process in which it will be used.

Layout & Quote Questions

How long do Layouts and Quotes take?

Our goal is to provide your layout & quote as quickly as possible.

In some cases you will receive your layout the same day you requested it, while in other cases we may need additional days due to the size or complexity of your project (or during unusually busy times of the year).

If time is a factor, be sure our designers are aware of your requirements (see next question).

Can you get a layout to me quickly, for an upcoming meeting?

Yes. We will do everything possible to meet any deadline you may have.

This is one of our specialties.

How are plaques priced?

Most plaques are priced by the square inch, and almost every brochure includes pricing. We will also gladly quote prices when you Contact Us.

When you request a free layout, it will be accompanied by a written price quote.

Outdoor Use Questions

Can plaques be used outside?

Yes, most plaques are designed and treated for outdoor use. However, be sure to discuss your exact needs with our Design Team prior to ordering.

Turnaround Time Questions

What is the normal turnaround time for production?

Normal turnaround time (when you do not have specific delivery requirements) is as follows:

Cast metal plaques 4 weeks*
Engraved metal plaques 4 weeks*
Etched metal plaques 3 weeks*
DuraBronze™ plaques 3 weeks*

*IMPORTANT: Turnaround times are approximate, so you should not rely on them absolutely. If you have a specific delivery date requirement, please notify us when placing your order. We will do everything possible to meet your needs (see next question).

Can you handle RUSH orders?

Yes. There are many options when it comes to rush orders.

From dropping everything in an effort to meet your needs, to specific quick-ship programs on certain products, deadlines are not usually a problem.

Speak to one of our designers as soon as possible regarding your requirements.

Installation Questions

Do you provide mounting hardware?

Hardware for several common surfaces (brick or other masonry, wood, drywall, etc.) is included with your plaque. However, the exact type of hardware varies from product to product.
